I love #1 on that list. I personally like to use the task list available in GMail. It helps me to track my daily tasks and allows me to cross them off or reschedule them as needed. Here’s a tutorial on setting up your task list:

I strongly believe in a To-Do list and I think it is also important to remember you need to allow times for interruptions as life / work schedule doesn’t work in a perfect schedule. I continue to read this and it is so true, keep multitasking to a minimal. Doing too many things at once will not allow you to give your undivided attention which could cause for more mistakes.
