Ideally, I would like my CS, QAS to work less shifts in comparison to my floor trainers and Scribes. My CS and QAS have a higher rate of pay and therefore are going to cost me more in the long run compared to my scribes at 10$ an hour. However, then I am going to run into issues with my scribes working a large amount of administration hours.

Also, the positive thing about having my CS and QAS working less shifts is that they can contribute more time to quality assurances, call outs, recruiting and training. One of the things I run into are my scribes covering a large amount of the shifts and administrative duties resulting in overtime. The goal for any of my sites is to be 150% staffed to allow my CSs to ensure we are staying ahead of the game and not just covering shifts. I would then utilize my FT to help with quality assurance as well as CRT to offload some of the work for the CSs. This is another measure that can help with combating overtime with the CS.

Overall, it is a tricky situation regardless at how you staff it. In the end no matter what I want to ensure my shifts are covered and believe this would be the best solution.
