Amy Palma: Not Your Average Night Shift Scribe

Some call me crazy, but not because of how I act. As I walk into my night shift in the Emergency Department, I am always asked if I worked during the day. Scribes in the Community

Scribes in the Community is our newest series focused on the behind-the-scenes volunteering performed by our scribes each and every day. Many ScribeAmerica team members are active within their very own communities, whether volunteering for nonprofits, aiding in local community work, or simply dedicating their time towards helping others. Here, we aim to share the stories of those who continue to put others before themselves and exemplify and uplift the characteristics of a true humanitarian.
